A Stupid Thing to Fight Over

A few weeks ago, in the State of Georgia, in the United States, a husband and his wife decided to go through a McDonald’s Dive Thru, and they got into a vicious fight with the McDonald’s employee over a packet of Splenda!

Apparently, when they asked for the Splenda, the employee told them they had to come into the store to get it.  That turned into a loud argument which escalated into the husband and wife exiting their car, throwing drinks at the employee! The wife crawled through the Pass-Thru window and hit the manager in the leg with a chair!  The couple was arrested and charged.  All over a packet of Splenda.

People have been known to fight over the stupidest things.

Him: What do you want for dinner?

Her: I don’t know, you pick.

Him: Chinese?

Her: Yuck!

Him: Pizza?

Her: Gross!

Him: Mexican.

Her: Are you dumb?

Him: Well, what do you want?

Her: I DON’T KNOW!!  Just make a decision.

Him: Ok, Italian it is.

Her: Blah!

Him: I want to break up!

Church members have also been known to fight over the colour of hymn books, over which picture of Jesus to put in the Foyer, over whether or not to sing Happy Birthday to someone in the church, and the list goes.

Beloved, If we are to fight, let us wage spiritual warfare against our real enemy – Satan!  But when it comes to Brothers and Sisters in the Lord, let us obey what the Bible says in Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
