His name is Li and he had been lured by a fake ad for a job interview in Beijing, China, but then, he was kidnapped by a criminal gang and smuggled into Cambodia.  They kept Li in a secret compound where they started siphoning off his blood and selling it.  Apparently, there is a lot of this sort of thing happening.

Eventually, Li was able to escape with the help of someone else, and was taken to the hospital.  Imagine being kidnapped and used as a ‘Blood Slave’.  What a terrible thing!

And yet, I know of Someone who voluntarily gave His blood in order to save people from going to hell.  His name is Jesus and he went to the cross, not as a kidnap victim, but as a hero.  And there, He shed His precious blood for the sins of all men everywhere.

He died and was buried, and He rose from the dead 3 days later.  Hallelujah!
