Strange and Unusual STORIES

Crash Turns into Cash!

On August 01, 2020, a 33-year-old man in North Sumatra, Indonesia, named Josua Hutagalung, heard a noise and found that a large rock had crashed through the overhanging roof of his house and buried itself into the mud beside his house. What a ‘miserable’ thing to have to happen!

But the ‘rock’ turned out to be a piece of a rare meteorite, which, the Lunar and Planetary Institute of Texas, has estimated to be worth about $2.4 million Canadian.  What a ‘wonderful’ thing to have to happen!

God often hides wonderful blessings in unusual places, and ‘Missions’ is one of those unusual places!  What may look drab on the outside is actually wonderfully blessed on the inside.  To some people, Missions is little more than a cry for money; but to those of us who are familiar with Missions, we know it to be the very heartbeat of God, and God will wonderfully bless all those who get involved and help support Missions!

Now is the time to get on board with your local church as they try to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ further across the world than ever before.

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Let’s all be generous this year towards God’s Missionaries
