Strange and Unusual STORIES

It’s Not What You Think It Is

Many computer gamers are dyed-in-the-wool enthusiasts who spend hours-at-a-time with their amazing toys, as they battle aliens and each other, in their virtual worlds.  But sometimes, these dedicated gamers can actually ‘alienate themselves’ from other members of their families, and cause deep negative family-emotions as they play their games, hour after hour, day after day.

Well, the new powerful Sony Play Station 5 (called a PS5) has taken the gaming world by storm, and has an odd new appearance! One desperate gamer in Taiwan, a middle-aged married man, bought one and managed to convince his skeptical wife that the new machine was, in fact, NOT a toy for gaming, but was actually a device for their home.

Soon, however, he was forced to sell his new toy, and when the buyer asked why he was selling it, he sadly said, “It’s my wife who wants to sell it.  Seems like women can still tell the difference between a PS5 console and an air purifier.”

We get a laugh out of things like that, but isn’t it true that many people try to convince other people that what they are seeing is not what they think it is.

So, HOW are the governments of the world going to explain it to their people when the Rapture happens, and millions of people go missing?  How are the Psychiatrists going to calm down their patients after their loved-ones suddenly disappear?  Just what will the religious skeptics have to say when we’re gone?

1Cor. 15:51-53 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Folks, we’re witnessing the world going through some pretty serious changes, and this suggests that Jesus is not too far away.  Paul gave us some good advice in Romans 13:11, And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
